SEC had been one of our earliest and most trusting clients. They were always open to new and fresh ideas to get their message out to the public and they weren’t afraid to take chances. For the launch of this initiative, we were brought in right from the start to help craft the look and feel of the entire national campaign together with Ogilvy, their appointed creative agency.
We translated the Everyday Superhero ad campaign into an event format with comic-book themed exhibition info panels and superhero giveaways like capes and branded hand fans. We especially had fun with the stage launch where our Guest of Honour sounded a distress signal which activated our plainclothes talents who were planted in the audience to go onstage for the final superhero pose.
